Previously unpublished medical information, obtained by the investigative newspaper Le Correspondant, concludes the debate on the gender of the women's boxing gold medalist at the 2024 Olympics. Taken for a little girl at birth, she turned out to be a man in her teens, and should not be allowed to fight women.
The medical file
The Correspondent 's Djaffer Ait Aoudia had access to Imane Khelif's medical records at the Kremlin Bicètre hospital in Paris and the Mohamed Lamine Debaghine hospital in Algiers:
Where the champion is followed by the crème de la crème of endocrinology: Professors and heads of department Soumaya Fedala and Jacques Young. In their report, delivered in June 2023, the two doctors, Young and Fedala, point out, in no uncertain terms, Imane Khelif's pathology: a “5-Alpha-reductase type 2 deficiency, a genetic anomaly that leads to metabolic dysfunction of testosterone and dihydroandrosterone”. https://lecorrespondant.net/imane-khelif-ni-ovaires-ni-uterus-mais-des-testicules/
The file also notes: an absence of uterus, the presence of undescended testicles and a micropenis. The 46 XY karyotype confirms male sex. The level of “male-type testosterone is 14.7” (the normal female level is around 0.2 to 0.8 ng/ml).
Imane Khelif's genotype (XY), her genes, are therefore male. Her phenotype (visible characteristics) is both male and female. Testosterone levels are masculine, even higher than normal. His pathology, Alpha 5 reductase type 2 (5-AR2) deficiency , results in reduced conversion of testosterone to dihydroxytestosterone (DHT).
What are the consequences ? With 5-AR2 deficiency, the external genitalia can resemble those of a girl at birth. This is the case of Imane Khelif, with her undescended testicles and micropenis.
At puberty, testosterone induces masculine traits, such as increased muscularity, but secondary sexual characteristics such as facial and body hair may be reduced, and the genitals may remain small.
Testosterone increases muscle mass and strength, reduces body fat, and contributes to increased bone mineral density, which indirectly affects muscular performance by reducing the risk of fractures.
The gender identity of individuals with this anomaly can vary. Some may identify themselves as male, others as female. Imane's gender identity seems to be in no doubt, as can be judged from his photos published in tempore non suspecto, prior to the 2024 Olympics.
Even during the Olympics, he may have let himself go.
The Olympic Committee cheated
To sum up, Imane Khelif showed feminine traits in childhood, but her genetic sex became clear in adolescence, and her testosterone levels made her definitely male. This is certainly a personal drama, a complex situation, from which the victim has also benefited. His case does not constitute an absolute fraud (because there is a genetic anomaly), but a fraud nonetheless, because this anomaly did not prevent the development of a masculine phenotype as far as sporting activity is concerned.
Khelif and the Algerian Olympic Committee are not solely responsible for this fraud. Le Correspondant reports that the International Olympic Committee accepted Imane Khelif's identification as a woman “even though it had received Pr Young's medical file in May 2023”.
Imane Khelif's XY karyotype had already been confirmed by Prof. Alan Abrahamson, an associate at the University of Southern California's Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism, an Olympic sports specialist and member of the International Olympic Committee's press committee. The latter stated in a press release that he had personally seen the results of chromosomal tests commissioned by the IBA in 2022 and 2023, revealing that the tests “concluded that the boxer's DNA was that of a male composed of XY chromosomes”.
Boxing circles were aware of the problem, as the technical commissioner of the Spanish boxing team revealed that the Algerian boxer had been deemed too dangerous for women to train against at a boxing retreat in Spain.
Bulgarian-Nigerian boxer Joana Nwamerue, who faced Imane Khelif during training sessions in Sofia in February 2024, also claimed that Khelif is a man in terms of her power and techniques. https://reduxx.info/khelif-is-a-man-female-boxer-who-fought-imane-khelif-speaks-out-claims-algerian-boxing-team-told-her-khelif-had-been-biologically-altered-by-living-in-the-mountains/
All these witnesses were disqualified. It could be said that this serious drift, which traumatized several boxers and cost China's Yang Liu the gold medal, is a good illustration of Macron's wokist Olympics 2024 in Paris.
